Tracey, Dax and I got out to Ripple Rock trail finally.
9.4km, 423m of elevation gain.
We went out to the lookout, had a picnic and got back to a full parking lot in 4 hours.
Well travelled trail, easy to follow. Not an easy hike, but not hard either if you take your time but there is a lot of ups and downs. Rave to the couple who had their young (2 year old?) kid a fair ways up the trail. They're in for a long day!
Dog friendly but there are a few bridges with a metal grating that Dax didn't like. She just walked slow on those.
She really did not like the stairs at the end with the same grating.
We ended up carrying her both ways. The sign at the start also mentioned ticks but Dax looks clean!
Great weather again with more on the way. I just hope it lasts until next weekend.
